Brian Carlton Byrd - Founder, President & CEO
Brian is a graduate of the Harvard Business School ("HBS") and Morehouse College. Currently, Mr. Byrd is responsible for the wireless network strategy, strategic partnerships, infrastructure design and implementation of the business plan. Past duties included management of the successful execution of an initial product launch for an Internet game business in Austin, Texas with retail sales in Wal-Mart and on a smaller scale in New York City. Prior to founding the company, Mr. Byrd was an Investment Banker at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in New York City. Mr. Byrd's first experience in the wireless industry was as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company where he worked on an assignment for a client in the cellular service industry focusing on advertising effectiveness and customer retention.

Stefano Sales - Vice President of Design
Stefano was educated at the Parsons School for Design, and has worked with Mr. Byrd for over 10 years on various projects. In addition to his duties at New Breed Wireless, Mr. Sales runs a creative design firm based in Rome and London: The One (www.the-one.it) with clients in Europe and the U.S. Mr. Sales splits his time between London and Rome.

 

 
         
   

Dave Lee - Vice President of Digital Marketing and Social Media. 
Dave is responsible for strategy and execution in all new media platforms.  Prior to New Breed Wireless Dave was in the U.S. Army as the Director of Marketing, one of the top 100 advertisers in the USA.  Dave managed a $423 million annual budget and spear headed the Army’s transition from standard marketing to a forward looking integrated marketing mix including Interactive online, social media, mobile and other more standard forms of marketing.  The results included moving the Army from an organization falling short of its recruitment efforts for two months in 2007 to an organization which met 2009 goals and developed a delayed entry pool accounting for 43% of the goal for 2010.

Sean Welch - Director of Business Development
Sean is a 2004 graduate of the University at Albany's Business School. He started his business career with PricewaterhouseCoopers' Entertainment & Media division with clients such as ESPN, Sony Music, Infinity Broadcasting, and other fortune 500 magazine and advertising companies. Today, Mr. Welch is co-owner of The IM-Group Inc., an entertainment company, conducting financial consultation for the film & music production business. As Director of Business Development, he utilizes all his relationships to provide new business for New Breed Wireless.

  Photo of Nevin Grinnell   Nevin Grinnell - Chief Marketing Officer
Nevin is a graduate of the University of North Carolina's Business School and Morehouse College. He is currently the Director of Innovation for Carbonated Soft Drinks for Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages. In this capacity Mr. Grinnell is in charge of innovation totaling $300M in annual sales. Previously Mr. Grinnell served as Director of Marketing for the Dr Pepper Brand and 7 UP brands respectively, managing over $2B in retail sales. In these capacities, Mr. Grinnell was in charge of managing all consumer brand/activity for Dr Pepper and 7 UP including development of long term strategic plans, national promotions, and new advertising campaigns for 2004/2005. Prior to Cadbury Schweppes, Mr. Grinnell served as a product manager at Pepsico's Frito Lay unit for several snack food brands including Totstitos Tortilla Chips, and Lay's Potato Chips. He was also responsible for Frito Lay's summer Olympics promotion in 1996.

Staale Engen - Technology Leader
Mr. Engen is the CTO of Xeed, our technology team headquartered in Oslo, Norway. Our product is delivered utilizing systems developed by Xeed and the Umbraco Content Management system. The system Xeed has developed is a flexible, scaleable and maintainable system which enables us to offer leading edge products, utilize and accommodate all of the various wireless technologies and to grow with our customers. Xeed has 12 employees - 5 dedicated to CEIG as needed - and over the last 4 years they have secured contracts with customers such as Barclays Bank, Tandberg and GlaxoSmithKline in Europe. Competing in the market with heavyweight competitors such as DNB (The Norwegian Bank), and other large firms, they secured in 2000 the contract to develop a net-based payment system used today by all the major Norwegian TV channels and newspapers. They continue to win significant business in Norway and England.
 
         
      Geordie Macaveney, Technology Advisor-System Architecture is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  He is currently President of Selective Technology Consultants which is involved in various projects including: providing technology services to Admeld, a successful web  publisher yield optimization company.   Mr. Mcaveny Provided strategy  consulting and Technology Management for a video advertising venture and has been doing software development for 20+ years.

Burke, Jr., Partner, Stonington Partner and J.Burke Capital, two private equity firms with investments in various industries.   Jim is on the board of  Ann Taylor, Lincoln Education Services, and was on the board of Brown University and various other institutions.  Prior to Stonington Partners he was the head of the LBO group at Merrill Lynch.  Jim is a graduate of Brown University and the   Harvard Business School.  He is an investor in New Breed Wireless.

Frank is a Technology Research analyst at Gartner Research. Previously, he was a wireless equity analyst at First Albany Corporation. He is an investor in New Breed Wireless. Prior to that he was a wireless equity analyst at Robertson-Stephens., ING Barings and Gerard Klauer Mattison (GKM) Prior to that he spent 12 years as Director of Business Planning and Reporting for Bell Atlantic's (now Verizon Communications) global wireless portfolio.
